Established in 1991, Australian Hi-Tech Fabric Protection has been providing quality services to the Textile Industry for 25 years. This Australian owned company based in Melbourne began initially treating fabrics as the need arose to fulfill requirements of a locally growing market.
Over the years Australian High Tech Fabric Protection expanded its market to cover treatment to all International Standards. Our treatment plant now has the facilities to treat over 5,000 metres per day to meet the requirements of an expanding international market. Australian High Tech Fabric Protection currently treat fabrics to meet most standards including British Standards, American/Canadian Standards and also FAR Standards for the Aircraft Industry along with most other European Standards.

Fabrics treated are first passed through a chemical treatment bath allowing the fabrics to be fully immersed. The chemicals are then squeezed through the fabric fibres through the aid of 2 Polyurethane rollers know as a padding mangle, this guarantees the chemicals are evenly passed through all fibres to enable sufficient pick up of the chemicals through your fabric.
They are then cured allowing them to bond to the fibres of the fabric enabling a permanent treatment that in some treatments can be resilient up to 35 machine washes. Our range of treatments do not change the colour or the handle of the fabrics but simply offer permanent protection for your fabric requirements. |
